Welcome to the Property Investors Association of Australia Inc.

The association was formed to enable investors to make prudent property investment decisions. It seeks to provide investors knowledge and skills to support sustainable wealth creation through the acquisition and management of property.

Mission:

To enable investors to make prudent property investment decisions.

Objectives:

To protect and promote the interests of all existing and prospective real estate property owners and holders of real estate investment products;
Collate and disseminate information to investors about property investments;
Inform investors how best to maximise and protect their investments and to acquire the knowledge to enable this;
Provide educational information and conduct research into all aspects of real estate investment;
Identify and promote to the public, beneficial partnerships between investors and the public;
Act on behalf of the members and subscribers, to co-ordinate class and common legal actions on behalf of investors and to take such actions in courts of law and before tribunals, conferences and administrative bodies to protect the interests of investors; and
To present the perspectives and interest of investors at meetings of Property Developers, Builders, Local, State and Federal Governments, Stock Exchanges, Financial Institutions and other appropriate bodies.

The association will carry out its objectives through:

Distribution of a regular newsletter/web site content containing objective and impartial information aimed to educate investors;

Regular meetings/forums;

Conferences, seminars and workshops;

Provision of due diligence information and services (including compliance rating of products and services offered to investors);

Maintenance of a database of developers, builders etc.,

Advertising through web and printed media the beneficial relationships between investors and the public; and,

Present to the public new and innovative opportunities for rental accommodation.

Acquire resources and tools to enable investors to make better investment decisions through the use of legal, Government, and other appropriate services.
