Growth of Housing Loans in New South Wales and Victoria

The demand for housing loans has surged in Sydney and Melbourne.  But what could have been the driving components in this growth phase?

Data provided by Corelogic and the ABS point out that low interest rates plus high levels of availability of mortgage finance and other factors such as localised economic performance, population growth and foreign demand have been the key elements in the much stronger growth in New South Wales and Victoria than across the other capital cities.
