CommSec State of the State Report for July – September 2016.

This unique report takes current indicators of economic growth to compare the economies of each state and territory in Australia.  It compares it to the decade average.  This is relevant because if Victoria has strong population growth is that trending up, down or side ways compared to the last ten years.  This gives us indicators of the strength of that indicator in the local economy.  Vital information for any property investment advisor.

  • “NSW has retained its top rankings on business investment, retail trade, and dwelling starts.“
  • “Victoria remains in second spot on the economic performance rankings. Victoria is top ranked now on population growth and ranked second on retail trade and business investment.”
  • “Queensland is in sixth place on the economic performance rankings. The economy is second-ranked on dwelling starts and population growth is lifting.”
